Introduction
These Terms govern the use of SLAP.lk, the Membership Management System, member accounts, event registrations, and related services.
Eligibility
Membership applications may only be submitted by individuals aged 18 years or above or authorized representatives of organizations.
Membership Applications
All applications are manually reviewed by SLAP. Submission of an application does not guarantee approval. Additional information may be requested.
Membership Categories & Fees
SLAP may offer registration, annual, upgrade, and lifetime memberships. Fees are determined by SLAP and may change from time to time.
Payments & Refunds
Online and offline payments may be accepted. Application fee refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. Membership fees are non-refundable once approved. Event fees are non-refundable.
Member Responsibilities
Members must provide accurate information, maintain account security, and comply with SLAP policies, constitution, and code of conduct.
Public Member Directory
Approved members may appear in the public directory unless visibility settings are changed by the member.
Event Registration Policy
Event registrations are non-transferable. SLAP reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, change venues, modify programs, change speakers, or convert events to virtual formats without creating refund obligations.
Acceptable Use
Users shall not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, distribute harmful content, or infringe the rights of others.
Intellectual Property
All content, logos, trademarks, documents, and materials remain the property of SLAP or their respective owners.
Suspension & Termination
SLAP may suspend or terminate memberships for false information, non-payment, misconduct, policy violations, or actions detrimental to the Association.
System Availability
SLAP aims to maintain continuous service availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Limitation of Liability
SLAP shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or membership system.
Governing Law
The laws of Sri Lanka govern these Terms.
